New release schedule

Its getting close to Christmas and we've got a lot of deliveries arriving with new stock, so if you're waiting for an arrival or want to order something in time for Christmas here is a schedule:

AC Models - a whole batch of products are on order, including the NZ SAS set, we're still waiting for those and as they are coming from New Zealand I think its going to be a tight call to get them in and out again before the big day.

Knight Models military series

Another new recent listing on www.fireflymodels.co.uk is the military series from Knight Models. This Spanish manufacturer is known for the science fiction and comic book figures, but I am pleased that I'm able to add the two military figures from the range.

The military series of figures has two figures, a US special forces figure in 70mm white metal and a US Navy SEAL. The SEAL comes with two different heads, one with a floppy hat and the other scuba mask.

Historic Art Miniatures added to Firefly Models

I'm pleased to add a new supplier to the Firefly website, this is Historic Art from Spain. Historic Art are releasing some fantastic figures at the moment and I'm starting with the 70mm historic range at the moment and hope to add more of their ranges in the New Year if they are popular.

Darius Miniatures - new stock added

In the run-up to Christmas I want to keep the website refreshed with all the latest stock. I've taken advantage of a cold Saturday afternoon to update a few listings including making sure all the Darius Miniatures stock is up to date. I've added two of the latest releases from Darius (included the exceptionally popular Hetzer wedgie shown below. I'm expecting more stock shortly from Darius and will be adding even more kits very soon.

Now stocking Knight Models

I'm really pleased to announce that we are now stocking the military range from Knight Models.

Known for their outstanding Star Wars and Marvel ranges, Knight have put the same level of detail in to casting of two military subjects in 70mm and cast them in white metal. The figures really are outstanding quality and are already hugely popular.

The two figures in the range so far can be found on the website at www.fireflymodels.co.uk and are:

Navy seal (shown with head variants, both heads are included in the same kit!)

Retail at £35 these are superb figures and I'm looking forward to seeing what is next in the range!

The Victory Show 2011 in Leicestershire

I attended the Victory Show in Leicestershire on Saturday 3rd September as a visitor with my family. We had a fantastic day, its a great show full of military reenactors and and aircraft fly-by which included the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, which was a sight to behold.
